The story

Inside ONE

Ocean Network Express (ONE) was created in 2017 by combining the container divisions of Japan’s three big shipping houses — NYK, MOL and K-Line — and began sailing in April 2018. Its unmistakable magenta ships quickly made it one of the most recognisable brands at sea.

Operating from Singapore, ONE is a founding member of the Premier Alliance and has grown steadily to become one of the world’s largest carriers, ordering a new generation of large, efficient, ammonia- and methanol-ready tonnage.
